This package is addressed to South Haven, Michigan which is about 610 miles north of where I live.  It has ended up at a distribution center in Honolulu, HI!!   USPS really needs to get it together especially with the holidays at our door.   Needless to say I don't think this buyer is going to receive their package on time.

ALL I can think of maybe it got stuck to another package. But then Memphis messed up one of my order where it got lost for two -three weeks.

Tracking error- something tells me it didn’t go from Tennessee to Hawaii in less than two hours.

I don't think it could have got stuck to another package.  It was a fairly large package 12"X8"X10".  It also had "Fragile" stickers on it.   So now I'm just praying that my packaging was good enough to withstand all this traveling.   This is not the first time I've had a problem with Memphis.  I filed a complaint not long ago over another package they held for over 9 days before scanning.

USPS continues to disappoint it's customers.  

According to Google, USPS delivers 700,000,000  packages per day.    With that 

piddly amount of work,   You'd think they'd never have an 

issue or make a mistake.

I just got off the phone with USPS and it is definitely in Honolulu.  The lady filed a complaint for me on the Memphis Distribution Center and gave me a service request number.   It may not do any good but I'm going to complain every time Memphis messes up.

Oh yeah it happens. Apparently your package wanted a vacation. Had one a while ago, going to Washington state from California. Easy huh? Nope. 

Ended up in Florida, bounced to another hub in another state and went back to Florida then went to Washington. 

Thankfully the buyer found it funny and wasn’t perturbed by it. She knew I was watching her shipment and we both found it funny. A vacation to Florida sounded pretty good at the time to both of us.

@the_fancy_fox   😂....I could use a vacation to Hawaii.   I haven't contacted the buyer since the delivery date is not up yet.  I hope they are as understanding as your buyer was.  I'm hoping since it only took about a day for it to reach Hawaii from Memphis that it will only take it a day to reach Michigan from Hawaii.  I'm trying to think positive.  😊

Odds are it will be fine. At least it’s in the system and you can see where it is. 

And yes, a nice vacation in Hawaii sounds very good to me too! Plumerias blooming, glass of wine in hand, toes in the sand….. oh yeah. 

oh well back to reality, trying to push out the listings today….. so much fun.

Have you ever seen the sacks that the post office uses and also those bins?  Sometimes, a package can get stuck in the bag and then it gets filled with stuff for another zipcode.  OR the bin is put on the wrong airplane or the wrong truck. Stuff happens.  Keep your buyer informed.  I have been selling since 1998 with 2 accounts and in all of that time, only 2 boxes were harpooned but the buyers had planned on opening the boxed toys anyway  and 3 were lost in the USA.   I had 4 that were lost(stolen) in Mexico.   Going by the feedback on my 2 seller accounts, I have shipped at least 11,000 boxes.  ALL but one was USPS.  I stand by USPS.

Consider yourself lucky it is getting scanned and flown there.  I had the USPS during the Covid hoax put my package on a barge for a buyer in Hilo, HI.  6 weeks, no scan, I had to refund the buyer out of good faith (nothing filed), and 3 weeks later, buyer gets the package and is even more happy.  Yeah, great job USPS, that'll keep Capitalism booming.  lol.
