Now we’ve all seen posts on these boards complaining about lousy USPS service. Late deliveries and all that. Well, if I may offer a counter argument -
Just out of curiosity I checked every December sale I made through Fri Dec 20 and all of the domestic orders were delivered before Christmas. All of them, except one going to Alaska by Priority Mail, were sent ground advantage. (And that one got there on time as well). Even some of the ones I sent Sat Dec 21 were delivered.
Count me as satisfied.

Congratulation for your success this year using the USPS.

I agree. I also had a good year and holiday season with USPS. Some packages were delayed by a day or two, but nothing was lost or damaged.

Happy to report nothing lost this year from the USPS. Kudos also.

All mine arrived by the 20th. I did shut down earlier this year, just not to have to deal with slow/late shipments, but all did arrive. Only had to follow and communicate with 3 buyers "arriving late" packages.
1 international package is still en route. I did not send anything Fedex or UPS

Although there were not as many this year, all sales (even 2 Priority on Saturday 12/21) were delivered on time. Was happily surprised, so kudos to USPS from this seller.

My year was OK except for a package that was erroneously "tendered to returns agent".
Mail research. Missing mail. Insurance claim. Insurance claim appeal.
Package was finally delivered 89 days after mailing. Buyer of course had already been refunded.
Buyer attempt "refuse-return to sender". USPS rejects that action at the Post Office retail counter. My Christmas kick in the wallet from USPS.
Offer to send the buyer a prepaid shipping label.
Buyer taps out. Buyer attempted to assist but refuses to be bothered with this anymore. Just tape a label on the package, and away it goes, but buyer is done.

Kudos from me as well. The USPS did a remarkably good job delivering my packages very fast during December. They were pretty slow during the year so I was pleased to see how fast it was this month. My media mail packages all arrived the same week around 4 days or so. And I just sent a large box of gifts for my daughter & grandkids in California (I'm in Chicago). It was sent Ground Advantage and it arrived within 3 days, almost as fast as Priority. So good job, PO .... please keep it up!
Happy Holidays, everyone! 🎅 🎄 🕎

USPS was very solid for me this season.
I've only had 1 issue with a shipment that took 18 days to deliver from Dec 3rd.
And i think it was delivered wrong. Buyer never sent a message but after 15 days I filed insurance and USPS approved it in 2 days.
It ended up showing delivered to PO Box, however the addrsss wasn't to a PO Box.
I issues buyer refund without messages since USPS sent me a check.
But outside of that and a few 1-2 days delays. Good service. 👍
If you went by the forums and the dejoy complainers then I'd expect a large portion would have been problematic.

Truth be told that was a large reason behind me posting this in the first place.

I had no problems with USPS outbound or inbound.
Fed Ex lost a package to my brother and family.

I ship exclusively via Ground Advantage and the three packages that I mailed on the 18th and 19th all arrived by the 23rd. I even had one make it from DC to Alaska in 6 days.
The worst I had this month was one package that was delivered three days after the estimated delivery date. The buyer didn't care, so neither did I.

Media mail items move for me from the east coast to the west coast in 72 hours, sometimes less.
Bravo to Mr. DeJoy and USPS. Service has never been better.
