Item not received. Very bizarre/confusing story.

I had 3 orders from the same seller in China.

October 4th: Order #1 for 4 items.

October 5th: Order #2 for 4 items.

October 7th: Order #3 for 12 items.

Orders #1 and #2 were packed and shipped together and arrived on October 20th.

Order #3 had not arrived. At the time i was looking at the 3 tracking numbers and i could have swore they were all the same. When i discovered this error i let the seller and ebay know.  I don't think they understood me.  They both basicaly told me to give it some time. 

When i look at the tracking now, they are not al the same. Orders #1 and #2 have the same tracking number that shows it was delivered on October 20th.  Order #3 now has a different tracking number. It shows that it was also delivered on that same date, November 20th, which it was not.  I could have swore that at one time they all  had the same tracking numer.  That's what got me worried about order #3.  Maybe i made a mistake about the tracking numbers?  But i did not make a mistake about the 3rd order not showing up with the 1st and 2nd order.

Here's the weird thing.  The tracking number for the 3rd missing order shows that the shipping label was created on October 5th. That order was not placed until October 7th, 2 days later! How do you explain that? He created the shipping label 2 days before the order?  Something is fishy in China.

Do you think i'l ever get the seller or ebay to understand all this?

You are going to have to call customer service.  Point out repeatedly that the 3rd tracking number can't be for your shipment because of the dates.

Did your seller try explaining this away by having psychic abilities ?

OMG i talked to ebay CS tonight about this.   With all due respect, these overseas call center people are worthless!   The guy had no clue what i was talking about.   He did end up closing the case in my favor and refunded me $1.25.  That's what i paid for ONE ITEM.  This order was for a quantity of TWELVE ITEMS at $1.25 each!!!

Why are you buying anything from China?  The seller ripped you off and you are not likely to get any recourse. 

However, rather than call the overseas call center, find a way to call that gives you the option of getting a call back.  Then you are very likely to get a US based, English speaking CS rep.  Explain that you never received the 3rd order, that the seller changed the tracking number to fake that it had been delivered (point out the dates), and that the refund you got was for one item when it should have been for twelve. 

Make it short and to the point, and very clear.

The item is a real chicken foot.  LOL  I bought these as gag gifts for Halloween ... although the remaining 12 wont make if for Halloween .  A friend of mine says he's surprised these get past agriculture/customs.

In any case, i got a $1.25 refund for 1 chicken foot.  Then i had to call back and get a refund for the other 11 chicken feet.  That should be happeing as we speak.
