Hi everybody,
So I have a slight problem. I bought a really old Macbook Pro (Late 2006) for the starting bid of $31.03 + US $15.45 shipping. There where a few things that needed fixing, but for the model year and price I considered that an okay deal.
After winning the auction, I waited a week before messaging the seller about why it hadn't been shipped yet, I received a reply from the wife claiming her husband had a medical emergency, and that it would be shipped by the end of the day (it was Tuesday). On Thursday I looked and saw that the laptop had been shipped. I looked up the tracking (9405509699937049599731) and saw that it was at the post office pending arrival.
I waited another week, no response and no updates on the USPS tracking site. I finally opened a request on the 14th, and BOOM the next day a response. This time it was super lengthy apology from the man himself, saying that he would get it out before the 20th. I was satisfied with the response, so I close the case (stupid me). The 21st rolls around, and nothing.
I wait 5 days and ask him why it hadn't been shipped, nothing. We are now at the 3rd (My birthday) and I end up sending him another message as to why it hasn't been shipped, of course no response. I can't reopen the case, I also can't request a refund. Something that might be wise to change. The situation was weird as the guy had been on eBay since 2002 and had great seller ratings, but I did note that there was little feedback in the past year.
I am posting here because I don't know what to do in this particular situation, so I thought you guys might be able to help, knowing everybody here is pretty friendly. I am really hoping to receive the item before the 25th, but I will probably instead get a refund.
Thanks, Ryan C.

Skip ebay, you're past the 30 day deadline. Log into your PayPal account and choose the transaction. File Item not received.
