Hello! I shipped the buyer the wrong book! They opened a return request! I shipped out the correct book with tracking that I posted on the return request to prove and told the buyer to keep the wrong book! I asked the buyer to cancel the return request but it is still open! Buyer has not responded to the return request but did send me a message asking me to send them the correct book ASAP! Is there a chance that I will be stuck having to refund the buyer after already sending them the correct book? Thanks

There is that chance.
Hopefully you have tracking for the second shipment. Enter it into the transaction record so eBay knows you've sent a second item. Then contact eBay and explain that you sent the replacement, and have them close the case for you in your favor. ( I ususally do messaging, because phone CS doesn't always know what you are talking about - but do as you are most comfortable).
