Item is on hold but supposed to be here today

Hello! I would like to clarify I am simply looking for some clarification is all ^^

I am getting my package from Canada, so I understand the long wait (over ten days), but Saturday it suddenly said my item is on hold

Should I be worried? Is this something I can try asking the seller about, or is it best to wait till it clears?

It also says in Canada post 'Item redirected to recipient's new address' but I DEFINITELY have the right address! It's never been a issue and I've been using eBay for like a year

You do know that you have eBay's Money Back Guarantee if you do not receive your package within a day of its estimated delivery date, right?  Or, given the current state of the PO, you could give it a little more time, but do not go beyond 30 days.

I am aware I do, but if it's out of the sellers control, I don't want to do something that feels scummy 😕
