Hey I was hoping someone knows what to do, since eBay support has been less than helpful:
I shipped an iPhone to a buyer in Sri Lanka thinking I was using GSP, but apparently because I selected "eBay International Shipping" when buying my label I actually sent it eBay International Standard Shipping (still grumpy about that). The item got sent but now it's been stuck in German customs since July.
I wasn't prompted to fill out any customs forms when I shipped this phone initially and assumed eBay or their partner shipper was handling that. The buyer already got a refund but obviously I'm out a phone and grumpy that insurance only covers $100 of what is a $350 order.
So I wanted to see if there's any way of getting this package out of customs or am I basically SOL now. Reading online it looks like things end up in the black hole of IPZ-FFM pretty often, so wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and what they did to solve it.
