Item Not Described Claim - color differences.

We take very clear detailed photographs under ideal lighting using professional equipment and color rendering for furniture parts.  With that said, what is seen in our images can be seen differently in different lighting.  We have a disclaimer in our listing that states the issue with color expectations as well as state buyers in need of specific colors should request a sample.

Buyer is filing INAD claim stating the item is darker than seen in photos.  I have no issue with accepting a return for a buyer who doesn't like the color once they get it, but the photo representation is accurate.  We have no control over the color or tone in different light.

I don't believe we should be punished with shipping costs and a defect over this.  In my chat discussion with an eBay rep, she suggested, "We also encourage you to put photos on your listing the really match the item description."  We do, however we can't control the varying light in different environments.

When I reiterated our item description, the eBay rep justified the return with, "I just want to explain that not all buyers takes time to read the descriptions on the listing and they only look at the photos."

Frustrated that eBay has made this so challenging for sellers over the years.  Been selling on eBay for 22+ years and the policies get worse and their fees more expensive.
