Item Location on my listings aren’t accurate

Recently I moved from NC to PA and changed my address in the eBay settings right away. For some reason, the item location for my listings STILL say my old address which is giving me problems with returns. People will ship the item to my old address since that’s what the item location says, EVEN THOUGH all my labels have my CURRENT address.  The thing that really **bleep** me off about it is some of my most recent listings’ item locations say my new address, but some say my old one. Very annoying. I’m assuming the only option for fixing my old listings if going in manually. I don’t understand why some say my new address and some say my old this makes no sense, if anyone can help I’d appreciate it

Re: Item Location on my listings aren’t accurate

Re: Listings

You have to update the location on the listing itself because it's not tied to your ship from address. You can do it using the bulk edit tool. Select all your listings at once, then the edit button at the top of the page. That will take you into the bulk edit tool where you can revise the location and make sure buyers see accurate delivery estimates and calculated shipping costs. Let us know if you need help with it @kellensellsit.

Re: Returns

You may have updated your ship-from address, but did you update your return address in your account settings? The system stores several addresses including registered address, ship-from, ship-to, and return address. That will need to be updated separately.

Re: Item Location on my listings aren’t accurate

What is the address on the item listing tied to then? For me, it's just the old address despite the fact that I made sure all addresses were up-to-date in my profile.

Sellers don't have to use the same shipping location on their listings as their registered address. There are numerous, valid reasons, why the locations could differ.

The zip code on the item listing defaults based on what you used on your older listings. As I mentioned above, in addition to updating the addresses in your account settings, you need to bulk edit your listings when you move to change the item location zip code. If you sell similar or relist from a listing that still has the old location, you'll have to manually update it before you publish the new listing.
