It's time to raise the maximum $20 value on ebay standard shipping.

Ebay's low-cost shipping option for a 3 oz. or less (in a standard envelope) has never changed their maximum shipping value of $20.    Due to inflation, this $20 value should be raised to a maximum of $30 value.  I don't think we can send customer service an email anymore or make suggestions to ebay so if you use the service, let's get the word out...

As it's my primary shipping method I agree. But, I wouldn't hold my breath for it. Still a bunch of kinks and way too many sellers that don't seem to know how to use it properly. All a matter of how much liability ebay is will to carry and they prefer to make money not give it back..

I agree, I've used ESE for years and have found it quite reliable with few problems. I'd like to see them raise the max to $50

Current system doesn't make much sense, you can use ESE for shipments up to $50 as long as it contains individual items that are less than  $20 each, 2 X $19.95, 3 X $14.95, etc.

If they can do that why not individual items up to $50?

As stated above I'm not holding my breath waiting for any change

I support this. $30 would be nice.

In fact I just came to the eBay community just now because this "service is down" and won't let me ship out my orders.

Other than this using USPS' Intelligent Mail® Barcode system has served me well.

That just seems like overall higher fees to absorb the insurance payouts.

Not worth.

But obviously people who use the service frequently would want it.

It would also be nice to also expand the service to include a "large eBay Standard Envelope", for items that are slightly too big for a regular letter envelope but are still flexible enough for letter mail (single issue reading-grade comic books and magazines would be ideal for this.)
