Is there right now problems with the delivery of items comming from china to the US?

Hi there, and has anyone purchased anything from china lately?  had any trouble with items not arriving? 

I need to purchase some items from a seller in china.. but was told that since the commercial troubles over us-china, there would be problems with the items (this was mentioned by a company worker at a parcel company)

I purchase small inexpensive items from China all the time.    I have been doing this for the past 18 years. They have longer estimated delivery dates and for the most part they have arrived.  How long are you willing to wait?  Check your sellers feedback to see what comments have been left for them so you can see what has transpired with their other buyers.

The chinese have taken to shipping items through other countries to avoid the duties being imposed on them.  However, while that might increase the estimated delivery time, absolutely avoid any seller giving more than a 45 day outside estimated delivery date.  Definitely check their feedback profile and click on the numbers of non-positive feedback they have received to see if they have issues with very slow shipping or nondelivery. Also look for quality issues as well.
