So I had a buyer request a return, and I paid for his shipping label and then never heard back from him. Eventually, eBay closed the return and I wasn't required to refund him. However I'm wondering if there is any way I can now get a refund on this return shipping label I purchased for him that was unused?
I checked the usual way to void a label through eBay and the return labels aren't there to void, so I'm not sure if I can, or if it makes me liable if the buyer disputes the return closure. Any input is appreciated. thank you!

eBay does not bill you on your monthly invoice for the return shipping label until it is used. If the label was never used for the return, you don't pay for it.
