When seller places a tracking number for mailed items on eBay files, there is a choice of
the mail carriers to select in.
Some are quite clear and known: USPS, Deutsche Post, Poczta Polska etc.
But some others cannot be known without a special support:
Just : "Correos" without any addition. Who knows what is it?
What is AO or Boxc ? etc etc...
Is there a table list of the mail carriers integrated into eBay files system with the explanation to the
location country of each of them?

You are shipping from Latvia.........this is the US board, mainly populated by US sellers.......so we aren't familiar with European shipping. Probably best to post on a more local board where members would have experience to answer.........

You have to go about this from the other direction ...
Find out what carriers are available in Latvia and then check them against eBay.

Both replies above are an absolutely the nuts here!!!
Not in theme!
Yes I am in Latvia, but when I send to USA I should select the carrier of the delivery, not the carrier of mailing out!!! So it is usually USPS then.
So if I send the item, no matter from where to Poland, I should select Poczta Polska, because they deliver item to the addressee in Poland...
This is how it works, and this is why I ask!!!

No you select carrier of sending out as the tracking number will be from that carrier. If you are shipping from Latvia you use a carrier to ship out in Latvia who will hand off to Usps if address is in US

That is NOT how it works.
You use your LOCAL carrier who passes it off to the foreign carrier for delivery.
You cannot mail something from Latvia via USPS or any other foreign postal service... The Latvian Post Office will not accept it.

Formally You are right, but Your suggestion does not work.
Why?
Simply, because Latvia Post system is not integrated into the list of eBay supported carriers!
If I would add Latvia Post there, the addressee cannot track it and it would cause me the plenty of headache with buyers!!!
I have to use the side doors!

All that means is that you can't buy postage and print labels on eBay.
If Latvia Post allows you to buy postage online, you buy the tracked postage, print your labels and upload the tracking manually to eBay.
If they don't have online postage, you must go to the Post Office, buy your tracked postage and then upload the tracking. In which case, You can print an address label - no postage - on eBay so that you don't have to hand-write the address and then take the package to the Post Office to buy your tracked postage.
There is no "side door" by buying foreign postage ... your packages must START at Latvia Post. Whhich means you must buy Latvia Post postage.
Or look into DHL

Indeed I cannot buy (currently) postage via eBay and to print the tracker out.
I have to lick the stamps to affix them to mail to go to post office to stand in line to obtain trackers there. This is how I do.
This is not a modern system I use. This is my reality today.

I'm sorry bout that ... but if that's how it works for Latvia Post, then there is no way around it.
Are you sure you need to lick stamps??? What happens if you bring a package to the Post Office without stamps? Can't you purchase the whole amount of postage+tracking at the counter?
As I said, there is no side door.
Wherever a package originates is what postage you must buy.
Have you looked at DHL?

Correos Express is a Worldwide mail service from Spain.
AO shipping originates in Germany.
BoxC Logistics, Inc. was a part of Batch 6 of 500 Startups in Mountain View, CA. BoxC allows shippers and logistics providers access to an open internationalshipping network that is more reliable than postal carriers and cheaper than express carriers.

If Latvia Post is not on the list of carriers when you enter the tracking info, I doubt that entering the tracking there will update the tracking on ebay. I don't think that DHL would work well for some of the other countries as most couriers do charge extra fees and always charge tax/duty even if the postal service usually ignores low value items.

Have you actually tried entering the postal carriers in another country such as USPS? Was delivery confirmation shown on ebay in those cases? Just curious.

Certainly USPS shows the info of the tracker of the mail arriving from a foreign location to USA. Otherwise it would not, there would have been no sense addition to the eBay file.
Of course mail addressed not to USA would not show up trackable via USPS.

p.s.
@pjcdn2005
The tracker of mail delivered to addressee in USA shows up via eBay file as delivery confirmed.
