This is a NON eBay purchase I am referring to.
On the USPS website I went to click and ship to print a label to return a very lightweight package to a company I had bought from. (NON eBay)
All I can see is Priority Mail shipping.
Is it possible to print a label from the USPS website first class? I am not seeing it.
If not, are there other options or places where I could do this? I could do this flat rate but I can save money if I ship first class.
Thanks for any help.

No, but you can do it through paypal, even if payment wasn't done that way.

You use to be able to print the label, but had to pay for the postage at the PO. It use to be a great way to be sure of the acceptance scan. However, to print First Class labels with postage included you had to go through a third party.

We have been printing First Class package labels through PayPal for many years at www.paypal.com/shipnow

Yes, I know. I've always prefered to print mine through USPS site.

You still received online rates at the time when you used USPS's shipping assistant downloaded from their site. Unfortunately, USPS did away with it after playing with it some to make it useless. Of course, there have been other changes to the postal system as well.

I'm straining my brain here, but I don't believe that's correct. If I recall correctly, with "Shipping Assistant" you paid counter rates - because that's where you paid for the postage. You DID get a discounted rate with ClicknShip (which you paid for online), but not any more.

I was really happy to find out that I could ship from Paypal. The discounts really add up! I am so glad I asked and that you guys were here to help me!
Thanks again.
