Is anyone else incurring a problem with entering HS tariff code on sales going from Canada to the US

Has anyone had any difficulty using eBay's mail system to send packages from Canada to the USA or even possibly packages going from the USA to international destinations? I can't get the HS tariff code to work for UPS and FEDEX and if I don't enter the code I can't access a label.. Canada Post is still on strike and I am no longer given the option to purchase labels from them. The price to go outside of eBay’s mail system is three times what I would normally pay through eBay. Yesterday I spoke with an eBay Escalation Representative and he said he was going to look into it. He saw what was happening himself after he tested it using my information. I’d really like to know if anyone else out there is experiencing difficulties. This is really creating havoc for me. Thanks in advance

Would be helpful if you specified what you mean by the HS code not being able  "work". HS codes are generally comprised of 10 digits, some countries use an 8 digit code, some even 12. SO perhaps this is a problem. Also, enter only the digits, no addition character, like periods.

I print labels here in US via a company called pirateship. I just mailed (yesterday) a package to Italy via UPS, entered the 10 digit HS, everything worked OK.

The required HS codes are for packages going to the European Union countries. I have never entered an HS code to Canada, or anywhere else in the world outside of the EU. You don't need it Canada to US,.
