Is UPS label needed for return if UPS is going to pick up?

Seller sends message saying UPS will come pick up my return...without enclosing any shipping label.

Does this mean that I do not need a label for the UPS pick up?

Having a terrible experience with this seller....if someone could help answer, pls

No not necessarily, the seller might have a UPS pickup tag, which means the driver will have label when he comes to pick up the package.

no, i did not file a complaint.

Seller sent a different product vs what I ordered....asked for return/ refund, which the seller accepted. Just that the seller sent msg saying UPS will pick up with no further info. I do not return items regularly by any means, and surely didn't have UPS come pick up anytime. Do not know what the process is.

I plan to write my feedback for the seller tho, which will not be good.

When you file a SNAD complaint, you will receive a return shipping label with the seller's official return shipping address.  Once the tracking information shows delivery, the seller must give you a full refund.

If you simply use the return shipping that the seller is currently offering, they might be having the package shipped to another address and you would have no proof of return to the correct address.
