For the last 2 days (August 19 & 20) when I print a first class shipping label through Ebay, the tracking numbers come up as item already delivered. The "experts" at the post office can't help and told me to go ahead and send it. I can't find out from anybody waht is going on.

Hi - there have been a couple other threads about this problem but so far I haven't heard of it being resolved. Here are the links-

I just went to printed my label to Canada with the USPS Click N Ship and it seems to be a good tracking number. But of course I lose the eBay shipping discount.
When I called Paypal on Saturday morning they hadn't heard about it but said they would submit a report. I did not call eBay but others say they have.
I am waiting for nearly $30 in voided labels to be refunded 😕

Usps tracking numbers are recycled. The Old tracking will go away once the new shipment is scanned by USPS.

Hi - Have you seen this happen? All these numbers are being flagged by Ebay and Paypal as "invalid". It would be great if is worked like you say. I just know from other experience of dealing with the USPS - i.e. they mistakening scanned all my items as "delivered" when they were being scanned into the system - the tracking never updated again.
I was told once a tracking number has "delivered" next to it in the system then any further tracking will not update.

Just be aware that e-DelCon may not be available from USPS Click-N-Ship. I know it is not available for retail postage paid at the PO counter or with stamps. Since Click-N-Ship is retail pricing only, it seems logical not to include e-DelCon.

Fortunately 2 of the 3 international shipments which I used the USPS site for were to Canada. I think those will fully track no matter how they are mailed.
The other package was Sweden so we will see what happens. Luckily it is not a high value item.
Of course when I asked the clerk at the post office about it he had no idea what I was talking about. I don't think they have much training in International shipping - I always seem to know more than the clerk when I ask about anything related.

Greetings, I think I have about 3 of these now, generated over the weekend. The system takes the money and prints, but the "paid" symbol next to the item does not update as shipped, and the tracking system shows as a duplicate, delivered item. The items are all First Class. I just mark it as shipped and plan on delivering it to USPS. I think pitney bowes is generating duplicates and then the item fails to have a tracking number.
If anyone knows of a better way to proceed let us know.

Ebay says it is a glitch and they are working on it. The post office has nothing to do with the problem according to the "expert" at my local post office. The first time it happened to me I went ahead and sent it. It seems that once the post office scans it, it becomes a good tracking number again and Ebay will accept it . That is what happened so far to me. On Monday I will try 2 more and see what happens. Wish us ALL good luck and happy sales.
