Inquiry on the Return Process

Hello!

I bought a patch from a seller and when I received I noticed a stray thread that took away from the overall look of the patch. I ultimately chose to return it. I gave the Seller a heads-up with an email and there was no issue in returning it.

I started the Return Process.  During the return process, the Shipping Cost was already determined and  it wanted me to print a label for $3.18 and pull funds from my Pay Pal account.

I have no issue with paying the return shipping costs (as stated in the auction), but how can they do this, when I know I can ship it back cheaper? I am obligated to use this process to ship it back and get a refund?

Thanks to anyone in the know!

You might be able to ship it back cheaper, but will it have tracking.

You need tracking to prove it was returned.

Have a great day.

Re: Inquiry on the Return Process

Actually, $3.18 is a fair and accurate price to mail an embroidered patch with tracking. The only cheaper alternative to mail it like a letter using common postage stamps. That will cost around 55-75 cents (depending on one ounce or 2) BUT you have no proof of delivery.
