I've been attempting to contact eBay's support regarding a bug in the website that's preventing me from messaging the seller via the ReturnDetails-section.
As courteous and quick to respond as the support agents are, they don't really seem to be able to understand the basic circumstances of the case that I'm describing.
I'm currently in a 5-6 email-long e-mailing chain where every time I send a message explaining the circumstances, they respond as if I've asked something entirely different.
Following the last e-mail that they sent, they closed the return for me (in my favor) when I was right in the middle of a discussion with the seller (through the ReturnDetails-section).
Is this normal? Is there any way to get ahold of someone working for eBay who can properly respond to support requests?
EDIT:
Another thing is that it seems like a new person takes over the support issue every time they respond. I don't know if this is normal on eBay.

Yes, CS employees sometimes don't understand what the problem is. Many people turn to these forums for better quality assistance. If you'd like to try that, please describe the problem.

Ah, I understand. That's a shame.
I've already got an ongoing discussion here regarding my issue at https://community.ebay.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Can-t-reply-to-the-seller-via-the-resolution-center-k...
Is there no way to get ahold of more senior eBay staff?
Thanks in advance.

eBay customer service reminds me of when I travel to Mexico.
I can say 2 sentences perfectly with a native speaking accent because I memorize and practice them.
Then when I say them, the other person thinks I am a fluent spanish speaker and then starts talking about things and I haven't the slightest clue of what they are talking about.
This is why Filipino ebay support will say "blah blah blah this line is being recorded, etc...". they get together with friends to practice and memorize those lines. After that they dont' really grasp the concept of what you are talking about. Sure they can pick out a few key words but really 90% of the time they genuinely do not know what is going on.
