If Ground Advantage REPLACES First Class - Why Can I Still Select First Class?

In the last few days, on bulk shipping, I can still select First Class package shipping, if I want. Ground Advantage is there (and I pick that)

BUT what would happen if I went ahead and just chose  First Class? Same price (I thought it was letter rate service but it's package service)... why is it still an option for shipping?

We are asking sellers to update listings to Ground Advantage over the next 30 days to ensure buyers see the most accurate shipping details. We realize this may take longer for some sellers and we will continue to support First-Class on existing listings for a longer period of time.

USPS will accept 1st class package labels until the end of september. So it is all about the transition to a new service.

After the transition period from First Class Package to Ground Advantage, First Class Mail for untracked letters/flats will still exist @jerseyboymusic .
