I placed an order through ebay that shipped from China. My item arrived at ISC New York two weeks ago and no further information has been provided to me. Is there a way to get my item moved from ISC to the intended shipping destination? Why would an item bought and paid for be left sitting at ISC for this lengthy period of time. Is there a way to file a complaint against ISC for failing to process a package in a reasonable period of time? Thank you for any help you may have, Mary.

Sometimes packages get held up in customs for no discernible reason. I had one a couple of months back that sat in customs for a little over two weeks and to this day I'm not sure why-- it was from Japan, was properly declared, was worth less than $35, and was shipped from a company rather than an individual and had the company logo all over the box. I also receive packages from this company on nearly a monthly basis and none of them have ever ended up stuck in customs before. When I finally got it, customs had never even opened it, nor had they opened the customs documents to inspect those. As far as I can tell, it just sat around in customs for two weeks while they did exactly nothing with it.
