I was sold a fake switch revision

I was advertised a Switch Revision model,  Revision model serial number is suppose to start with "XKW" the one the seller shipped me starts with a "XAW". "XAW" is the old model. It was no mistake the serial number on the box and on the bottom of the Switch starts with "XKW" but inside the console settings menu, it states the true serial is "XAW" looks like the seller swapped serial numbers to be misleading in my opinion.

I contacted the seller, they're kinda playing stupid with me and shocked.  Seller said they can fully refund me, or partial refund me. The problem is I used $150 in ebucks. Will I get those ebucks back? The ebucks were issued Oct 3, its now October 20th. My solution to the seller is, I prefer they exchange the wrong model with the correct Switch model. Seller haven't responded to that solution. But I also read somewhere I'm not supposed to ship back fake products. What should I do?

You can't force a seller to ship something they don't have or don't want to send you!  Once a transaction goes bad, it is time to get your money back and move on to the next seller.  Or you can allow this seller to string you along until you "time out" and lose the protections  of the Money Back Guarantee (MBG).  You have 30-days from receipt to file a MBG claim.

Just go to the  Resolution Center, link at bottom of this page, and file a case for Not As Described (NAD) and get a refund.  Yes you will be refunded your eBucks.  If not, then AFTER the seller refunds you, call Customer Service and get them to give you the eBucks back!  You might also be able to get an "extension" since the return might extend past the expiration date.

So time is of the essence, don't mess around with the seller, just get a refund!
