I returned a package but cannot find tracking info?

I recently bought a pair of boots from eBay- they didn't fit well and seller offered returns so I requested to return. Seller immediately accepted, and I printed the shipping label that eBay provided. I shipped them back via Priority 2 days ago, so the seller will most likely receive tomorrow. In the mean time, the seller has already refunded me. However, they have just asked for me to ship them back but they already have been... I just can't find a tracking #.

When I log into PayPal it shows proof that I paid for the return label "Purchase details: return shipping label for .... boots..." , and the transaction ID, but doesn't show the shipping label or tracking #. When I log into eBay it says the return is completed (because she already refunded me, without waiting to get her package). I'm worried the seller will try to rip me off because I can't find the tracking number, at least not yet. I know it says the return is completed so it's hard to imagine me losing a case, should it escalate to that, but there's got to be a way to find the tracking info no? Don't want to cause any issues.

How can the seller rip you off if you already received a refund?

the tracking number was uploaded for you automatically. You don’t need to do anything else. You got your refund. The seller can’t rip you off. They can’t open a case.

I meant rip off as in open a case, not deny me a reund which was alerady given. There is no tracking info uploaded anywhere on eBay- not in My Ebay, not in the returns section, nowhere. I figured it doesn't make sense for them to open a case, but you never know thse days. Never been in this position before so just hoping the seller gets the package and is honest about receiving and doesn't keep hassling me, telling me it hasnt been receieved.

He can’t rip you off and him opening a case is by no means ripping you off. Once you were refunded, it was a done deal. He can’t reverse the refund and eBay won’t get involved either. You are good to go.

Sounds great but just as suspected the buyer just emailed asking for a tracking #. I'd really like to know why it isn't availale anywhere online considering I used the pre-paid label that eBay gave me.

You guys don't have to respond anymore on this thread, it's sorted out. Thank you. It's just odd to not be able to find a tracking # once it's been shipped, but at least I have confirmation it's been delivered.

When the buyer prints the ebay retunn label there is a tracking number on it.  It can be tracked via USPS tracking.  I found out ebay does not load this number or display it for the seller or buyer on the return request.  So sellers cannot track it.  Buyer can track it if they remember to write it down or make a copy of the label.  It is frustrating to go through all these steps.
