Hello, I'm a seller from Greece and I have experience with selling items abroad but not on eBay. I'm using DHL as a shipping company and have been for a while now. I'm having trouble making the estimated shipping costs work. For now I just set a fixed rate and just wrote in the description of the listing that the buyer should contact us so that we can accurately calculate the shipping costs on the spot. Can someone please help me make the estimated shipping costs work?

Hi @vrohidi_0 . For starters you need to change from Standard Shipping as that's for domestic (US-based) sellers. It's going to provide inaccurate estimated delivery dates to buyers and open you up to non-receipt claims.
Scroll down the shipping options until you see the "standard shipping from outside the US" option and use that (screenshot below) unless the timeframe is too short, then you can scroll further and select the economy version.
As for rates, that's something you need to work out. Because you're in Greece and listing on .com, domestic shipping is to the US and international options are to anywhere else, including your own country. Your only option is to set up flat rate options because you will not be able to use eBay labels which are exclusively for domestic sellers.
You can set up different flat rates for different countries/regions. Just remember whatever domestic rate you set is to the US.
And you cannot tell the buyer you'll work out shipping after the fact. Whatever you advertise on the listing is it - can't ask for more later.

I set Standard Shipping from outside US. But how can I make sure that eBay calculates shipping costs accurately and what if eBay shows a customer a shipping price that is lower than the actual shipping price?

eBay can't calculate shipping costs because of your location - you have to figure out the rates based on the carrier and service you plan to use and set up your listings with flat rate shipping costs.
If the actual ship cost is higher than the price you set in the listing, then you pay the difference out of pocket.

Got it so I should create a fixed shipping cost table with prices slightly higher than what they could be so that I am safe, right?

You definitely want to charge enough to cover your shipping costs. You'll also pay eBay final value fees on the total amount buyer pays which includes shipping, so keep that in mind.
