Ok here is the situation, i sold an item and last week person send me e-mail january 8 telling me she is not happy and wants refund, its all good, i said sure.
so the lady said i will go take the item to the post office tomorrow and was on the 9 and said thanks, but same day she open the case for item is not as described, whatever thats ok i accepted, the case been open ebay sent her shipping lable but the case has not moved since i accpted and today i got an e-mail saying she mail the item 4-5 days ego and wants me to confirm that i got it, and No i did not get it.
please i don't know what to do yes i know i can say i didn't get it but this happend to me before and i just don't want them to screw me over again, last time they keep the item, got money from me and got refund from ebay, don't ask how am still trying to get over that.

If she used the eBay shipping label you provided, the tracking would show movement.
If she doesn't supply (her own) tracking number into the case, you will likely be able to call eBay soon and have the claim closed in your favor.
Tell her the truth - you do not have the item back yet and ask her to supply you with the tracking number. Remind her Monday is a holiday too.
You will not lose if she can't prove a "delivered" return. It might show up on Tuesday. Te

You don’t need to ask her for the tracking number. You said you accepted and eBay sent her the label so you already have it. Copy and paste it from the resolution centre to the USPS website’s tracking tool and see what the status is.

You are acting responsibly, to fulfill your obligation but hold others accountable for their actions.
Speak with a ebay customer service representative, state you have not yet received the return of the item.
Discuss with the rep. any issues that are troubling you.
Contact the buyer to advise you are waiting for but have not yet received the return.

You don’t need to call eBay to discuss anything. She was given 5 business days from the date you accepted the SNAD request to ship it back. If the tracking number doesn’t show any movement or acceptance USPS and it has been been at least 5 business days since the return was accepted, then you can call and have the return closed. Otherwise, just wait. There’s no reason to poke a sleeping bear.

@siler_j You don’t have to prove you didn’t get it. If the buyer have proof of delivery via the tracking number then you don’t have to refund her. She has to have proof of delivery via online tracking in order for eBay to force a refund 🙂

I did read that but what do you mean the label has not been purchased? YOU purchased the label.
When you accept a return for not as described the seller has two options, send the buyer a label or have eBay do it and charge your account for it.. Do you remember which option you chose?

I just reread your OP and saw where you said eBay sent the label. So far so good. But you should still be able to see the tracking number of that label. Expand the details on the case in the resolution center from a browser and find that label. Mobile might not show what you need to see.
You don’t refund until you get the package back.
