I had to void a scanned label, can I get a refund?

Accepted an offer, took it to the post office and it was scanned. I got home and buyer had messaged that I changed the price in her PayPal. I went back to the post office and got it back. I canceled the order, voided the label. It said it would be refunded in a few days if it hadn't been scanned. Can I get my money back if the label was voided after it had been scanned?

Nope, once its scanned it is considered used and is not eligible for a refund

As above; that postage is gone.

Sorry but money will not be refunded for that voided label.   When you void label on EBAY it is still subject to verification by USPS (since you had label scanned at the post office, that is considered used, and they will not refund your funds).

Did you investigate what that supposedly means?  That's not possible.  Not sure why you wouldn't just have told her that that's not possible & that it was already mailed, but sorry, no, it's considered a used label now.

What it meant to me is she was an unhinged person trying to pull a scam, and I just wanted my item back. Refunded and blocked, and lost my postage.

I thought about why I didn't say that but I wanted to get my item back, cancel, block and be done with her. I had accepted her offer.  Then she messaged that I changed her offer which is ludicrous. I don't know what her game was. I replied to her message with screenshots etc and got dead silence. I'll make a plea to eBay to get my postage back.

eBay isn't going to give it back to you because that money for label goes to USPS

Tracking would show it never left the post office. I wonder if the postal clerk could have voided the scan? The same clerk who scanned it handed it back to me.
