I can't change the address for a order

Someone placed an order and sent a note to please change the shipping address but after editing the address the message "Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label."

I have edited addresses in the past, so whats wrong?

Don't change the address. Cancel with reason, problem with address and relist. The buyer should have made the address correction before they paid or bought. Changing the address at your end, can remove what little seller protection you have because it was not sent to the address shown on the order. 

You could also be getting setup for an item not received scam.
