I can not open a new resolution claim

I bought an item a few months back that did not work properly. I contacted the seller and their reply was that they would contact their provider and get back to me later.

However they never showed up and they do not reply to my messages for almost two months now.

I tried to ask ebay to step up, however the item I bought is not in the list for resolution.

Can somebody help me on how I can contact ebay and let them know what happened, since I can not find a way of contacting them, given that the item I am interested in letting them know about is not listed in the proposed for resolution list. Moreover, I can not find a general inquiry topic through which I would be able to explain.

Thank you in advance

Its too late to contact ebay. Why did you wait so long to ask them to step in? They told you when you could ask them to step in and they sent reminders....you'll have to file with paypal if thats how you paid.

I can not open a new resolution claim

Sorry this happened to you. For future reference you have 30 days from the last delivery date (or the date you received your item) to file a case with eBay. Never let a seller string you along till this date has passed, now that you know. Read over the money back guarantee so you know in the future what to do.

Now that you are past the 30 days you will have to go to Paypal and open a dispute there for item not as described.

Hope this helps 🙂

Thank you all for the replies. My previous experience with ebay sellers was not problematic at all, so I believed I could work things out with this seller as well. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.

I will try to contact PayPal to see if I can save my wasted money.

Thanks again.
