In some cases yes tracking can be delayed. However these are front line types of APO's
I not only sell to APO/FPO/DPO locations I also send care packages to troops through www.booksforsoldiers.com (note there is some trouble with the webpage currently but you can get access through their facebook page). I have shipped hundreds of packages over the last decade and even had several following a unit on the move and arriving. I did get a confirmation on that one a couple weeks after actual delivery. That was a care package. I have never had much of a delay with eBay sales.

APO/FPO addresses are US based... They can buy from me anytime... including the DPO - Diplomatic Post Office. As already noted - this could be interesting for you... 🙂 If you don't want these customers -please send them to me.
I have nothing against the military but I don't ship anywhere that doesn't have confirmed delivery, nor should I be required to ship to them. If they want packages then the post office should put in the effort to confirm delivery and not be lazy and unreliable. If i'm running my own business I can decide where to ship and I have decided I will only ship to addresses where i'm protected, that is my right living in a free country.
I don't have to lose money on lost packages just because they are in the military. I don't run a business to give out donations.
Be honest, you don't ship to military addresses because you're ignorant of how it works, or you're just plain unpatriotic
