Hello, has anyone from New Zealand managed to list anything they want to sell on EBay? When it comes to shipping I’m having trouble. It keeps setting to US. Could anyone help, please? Thanks

When you sell on ebay.com from another country you have to do the shipping 'backwards'.
Domestic = USA, all other destinations are International.
Work out the cost then select 'shipping from outside USA'.

Because there isn't a New Zealand eBay domain, you have to choose what you want to use as your "home site."
If you choose to sell on .com then domestic shipping is within the US and shipping everywhere else (even to your own country) is considered international.
If you choose to sell on .com.au then domestic shipping is within Australia and shipping everywhere else (even to your own country) is considered international.
As the above poster mentioned, you have to choose one of the shipping from outside the US options when listing on .com. This is an old screenshot from the old listing form, but the choices should be the same (though visually different) on the current listing form.

Have you contacted customer service @jossue_0 ?
See if the chat option is available to you on this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
If not you can send a DM through eBay social media pages on Facebook or askebay on Twitter.

Yes I have contacted them but they can’t work out why it doesn’t work I just want to know is it possible for anyone in New Zealand to sell on eBay like are there actually people on New Zealand that sell on eBay ?

Yes, it is possible for sellers in New Zealand to sell on eBay.com @jossue_0 .
Hey @downunder-61 . While I'm fully aware New Zealand and Australia are completely different countries, I wonder if you might have some experience with the issue this seller is encountering, trying to sell on .com but being told their bank acct number has too many digits.
@lacemaker3 is pretty knowledgable about registration and payments for international sellers so maybe she has some advice for jossue_0, the poster that jumped on later (not the OP).

Yes, there are eBay sellers who are in New Zealand.
Are you being asked to add a checking account, or a Payoneer account?

Sorry, just saw this, yes NZ requires Payoneer for seller funds, it has an annual fee of $29.95NZD
Just as an aside, I would register your selling account at .com.au mainly so you can get assistance quicker when posting on the Help Boards (time zones much closer than US)
https://community.ebay.com.au/
Edit: Time here ATM: 8:54am 8th July

If this screenshot is from Payoneer, where you are trying to add your bank account to receive funds from your Payoneer account, then check that you are only entering the bank account number.
According to Wikipedia, in New Zealand, the bank account number itself is just 7 digits, which matches the instructions in your screenshot. Don't include the bank number, branch number, or the suffix in the account number field. There is a separate field for each of those.
