I printed a shipping label through eBay and paid for it. Unfortunately before I could attach it to the package, my dog destroyed it. I want to reprint the label but eBay wants to charge me again. How do you reprint a label without having to pay for it again? I haven't even attached the label to the package.

Did you get an email from eBay once you created the label. I find the easiest ways to find that email and reprint it from there

In Seller Hub, go to All Orders - on the left select "shipping labels", find the one you need to reprint, use the dropdown and select "reprint label"

I printed the label days ago. I get dozens of emails in my inbox and I am not sure what email from eBay you are talking about. Telling me what?

I do as you say, and I am directed to the print or create new label and asking me to pay for it.

Search your inbox for "Ebay label Ready" plus a keyword from the Title of the item

No, eBay doesn't send me an email every time a label is printed. PayPal sends me one when payment for the label is made. But I cannot request Paypal to allow me to reprint a label.

Alright if you don't get those emails from eBay then you'll have to do it through Through the shipping labels section of the Orders page like the other poster suggested.
If the label hasn't been used there should be the 2 options "Reprint Label" and "Print Another Label" (See attached photo). "Reprint label" is what allows you to reprint it without buying another, while "Printing another Label" is for purchasing another label.
Are you seeing both of those options? If you're only seeing the option to "Print another label" is it possible that you accidentally put your label on a different package and it was sent? Try to look up the tracking number and see if it mentions being accepted by the Carrier.

How many days ago did you print it? And do you have the option to Void the original... then purchase a new label?

If it has been less than 5 days since you created the label, you can void the old label and buy a new one. You can void the label by going under Shipping Labels, finding the label, and choose "Void Label". If it has been more than 5 days, the option won't be there.
You can only reprint a label within 24 hours of buying it, but you can void it up to 5 days after buying it. Makes no sense, but it is what it is.
If it has been more than 5 days, you can try calling eBay and seeing if they can manually void it for you, or contact the post office and see if you can get a refund (both can be a monster headache unfortunately.)
At any rate, you will have to buy a new label to ship the package, unfortunately.

I think the "reprint" option is only available for 48 hours after purchase.
When I prepare a label, I always save labels as a PDF in a separate "shipping label" folder. If I ever have to go back to reprint or check a label for any reason, it's in there.

My curiosity is just too strong to not ask why you would print a shipping label and wait days to attach it to the box.

I figure the best way to go is voiding the old label and buying a new one. It's been only three days so everything will work fine. That's just what I did. Thanks for all your advice.

Once you void, you won't get the money back for up to 3 weeks afterwards if the item was parcel select or media. It's quicker for first class mail and priority. The post office does this to make sure that you don't use the label. Relax. You will get the refund.

Printed label. Misplaced it. Looked for it everywhere for couple of days. Found it shredded to pieces by my dog. And saga began trying to reprint it without success.
