I have sold an Item to a buyer in Australia for 40$. Now he is asking me to put a value of 10$ on the package when I send it to him due to the customs rules in his country. I can't find a way to put any price for the item on the shipping label. Is this feature availble? and If not, is there any other way to comply with this request?

When you fill out the customs form, it asks for the item description weight and value. They want you to change the value on the customs form which will be your label if you use Ebay labels.

Do you know you are committing a crime by falsifying US Customs Documents?

Are you planning to self-insure the package? If you wish to help your buyer commit fraud, you have to declare a value of $10 on the customs form. If you don’t self-insure and you need to file an insurance claim, you will only be reimbursed $10. Are you OK with that?

This is really quite simple:
Tell your buyer it is against the law to FALSIFY a customs from and you will not be doing that.

Which law would they be breaking?

Which specific law should I look at?

I would not do it - if the buyer is willing to cheat his/her country, how do you think that they will treat you? Another reason why I will not ship internationally anymore.

The "shipping label" is really a customs form that allows you to pay the shipping. The price (that it sold for on Ebay) will go on this customs form.

Would you agree understanding the laws and law in general would be more meanngful if you were to do the homework involved yourself?

You made the assertion that it is a crime for a seller to make a false customs declaration on an international shipment.
The burden of proof is on you.

It is called Perjury. You are required to sign the form under oath stating that everything on the form is true and accurate. Since the value is understated then the information is not true and accurate.
