How to purchase return shipping labels on Ebay?

I cannot find anywhere a way to purchase a return shipping label, and to send it to a buyer. I got an automated message from EBay, that states: if I do not send a return shipping label to a Buyer by a certain date, MAY BE they will do it for me??? OK, I want to purchase and send a label to a buyer, but HOW???? Are there any EBay employees reading these forums???

@yoonix1   Have you checked the Return details?  If you have "returns accepted" eBay should be generating the label and sending it to the Buyer ...

There is nothing in Return Details, but to wait to get the return before issuing a refund.

This is message EBay sent me:

"Your next step is to send a return shipping label to *********** by Oct 23, 2020. See the return details to buy a label from eBay at a discounted rate.

If you can't send a label by Oct 23, 2020, we may send the buyer a return shipping label and charge it to your monthly invoice."

it should be simple to do but I can remember having difficulty with it.I felt like there should have been a button to say I dont know how,instead I said I could not do it,that used to be one of the choices and I always felt like a technophobe

the best way around it is to get into 30 day free returns,you will not have any problems with a return label then,its all automated and is the direction ebay is headed with autoaccept on the returns in MP

Is this a US return or international?

It's a US return to the State of NY.

looks like you have no returns........I don't if that's the reason an option for sending a return label isn't there.. but I would think it should be........have you gone to resolution center and clicked on the case there?

Did you go to the return the buyer initiated?  You should be able to click a radio button there to accept the return and send the buyer a label.   (BTW,  There may be other replies, but they are not showing up -  -   seems there may be but have messages that this widget cannot be displayed.)

Yes, it show 0 cases, and 1 link to return request,  which leads to the same Return Details.

The only other thing I can think of is trying a different browser.......sometimes one will be behind in updates and just not show some options........  If that doesn't work, I'd call ebay........and TELL them you are trying to send the return label, but can't find the option.

Usually I use FireFox. At your suggestion I tried the Explorer, but it did not work either. The only link I can see is: Refund the Buyer Now. It gets even more wierd, the Buyer text me that  EBay sent her a link, but she cannot print a label of this link, it was shown some Server error. Now we're to the solution, the Buyer will mail it on her own, I'll refund her the postage. I remember somewhere in the past, I've seen a link Print a Return Label, but Ebay has been doing so many updates, changes and changes, and it's there any more.
