How to get eBay shipping rates when reshipping item damaged in transit?

How do I get the eBay shipping rates if I want to reship a new identical item to the buyer without requiring a return?  The item was damaged in transit likely due to poor packaging.  The customer was nice enough to contact me and I want to reship a new identical item without requiring a return?  How can I get the eBay discounted shipping?

Go back to the original transaction, Sold items --

drop-down menu to select "Print another label".

However, this will replace your original tracking upload handling time --

so could affect your metrics.

Or print the label through Paypal --

re-enter info about the buyer and the package:

http://paypal.com/shipnow

You are correct, this will affect their metrics as a seller on Ebay.  Don't do this as it can cause you issues as a seller.

It is just best to go to PayPal and create a label.  NOT from the original payment as that would also update Ebay and you don't want that.  Go to www.paypal.com/shipnow.  You will be required to sign in just as you do into your PP account, but it will take you directly to a screen to create a shipping label.  This will NOT affect your original transaction or your seller metrics.
