How long does a buyer get to return item after escalated SNAD?

A not as described case was escalated by the buyer, eBay obviously decided in buyers favour, but asked them to return the item. How long does the buyer have to return the item by? I can't find any up to date definite information about the timeframe. Thank you.

Have you provided them with a Return Shipping label? Buyers typically have five days to ship the item.

Over here in this kingdom @kalaza22 when a return request is royally escalated, the buyour has 240 hours (unlike the 5 business days aloud for a non-escalated return request) to launch the return on our version of your Royal Snail, beginning the moment eBay blurted its edict in the buyour's favour.

That timeframe may vary over there in your kingdom.

You have 10 days @ste-9405 -- i.e. 240 hours starting at the time on the eBay notification -- after escalation to get your return mailed/accepted by the carrier.

As others have written, in a USA situation, the official number is 5 days.  But eBay will not typically close the return if it is unshipped within 5 days ... instead, they will give the buyer a longer window, and the real number seems to be somewhere between 15 and 30 days.
