I recently bought an item on ebay n paid a considerable amount. Now ive been told the item i bought is not as described. But i dont know that for sure. Id like to do some more looking into it before i make a claim. So how long do i have to do that. What if in say 3 months i find out 100% its fake ? Is it to late to make a claim. How should i handle this. Sny advice would be welcome. Thank you.

Yes,3 months would be too late to file a claim with eBay. As explained in the buyer protection policy, a claim for item "Not as described" must be filed within 30 days after you receive the item.

Did you ship the item to someone else? Depending on the credentials of party telling you it is a fake, you may have a chance through your method of payment (paypal, credit card, bank).
