How do I do it? I have over a hundred. One at a time? Is there a way to edit all at one time?

Certainly not my expertise, but I have found using the 'bulk edit' option pretty easy...
just select your items to edit, and choose 'Domestic Shipping' to change the service once the new ground is available......(they say your existing format will still be good for a short period of time after the 9th)
you can change the service without changing the dimensions you may have already entered in the listing....
other members utilize the shipping policies option, which is very efficient once it is set up...
shipping gurus...feel free to chime in

You can use the bulk edit tool @tradads08 . I'm actually working on creating some step-by-step tips with screenshots on the different ways to efficiently update listings and will post them to this forum before the change goes into effect July 9th if you want to check back in the next week. We can't make any changes before July 9th so my plan is to get the post up before then.

What happens if YOU DON'T REVISE to USPS GA?

I am also curious how the grace period is going to work and what happens if listings are not updated in the 30 day window.
I use bulk editing for handling time when I'm traveling, but my items are very different sizes so difficult to just bulk edit and be sure I have the correct shipping set up without going into each of my 1500 listings.
Add me to the list of sellers who don't begin to understand how eBay cannot do a backend change for all the first class package selections to ground advantage. They've managed to do this before for other shipping updates/changes.

I am not sure of the 'grace' period...
BUT...if you use the bulk editor and you have your dimensions and weight already in the listing, they are not affected at all by changing the "type" of service. That is a separate option under Domestic Shipping in Bulk...

Several sellers have asked about this in the past couple days kyle@ebay . Can you find out if there's an eBay response for this?
In the past we've seen non-compliance with listing requirements result in listings being hidden in search, listings not renewing, and buyers having issues with checkout. That's about the most general advice I can provide unless eBay comes back with something more solid for this specific situation.

In this case, reverting to "Service not specified" would be likely.

Hey @wastingtime101 that's a great question! At this time we are not aware of any consequence guidelines that would be implemented for sellers who do not revise their listings. I do believe @nobody*s_perfect's response is the most likely outcome; that it would simply display something along the lines of "service not specified".

I agree, especially for those using calculated shipping.
It would lead to checkout issues and reduced sales.

Go into your business policies ( shipping policies) and update the shipping info. there. Each policy will show which of your listings use that specific policy. Once you update a certain policy all the listings that use that policy will automatically be updated. Depending on how many different policies you have it could be done quickly. The whole rollout of the USPS Ground Advantage is confusing everyone -- including all the postal workers I have spoken to this week 😕

This is the answer given by rep Elizabeth on the seller board as far as consequences go if we don't update:
"The 30 day window will begin on July 9th. At this time we're unaware of any consequences that may come from not updating it within 30 days. If you have no other shipping option specified than your listing will not have a valid shipping service, and your buyer will most likely receive a message that they need to reach out to you to discuss shipping. Also, listings with Retail Ground will be the ones you will need to manually update, however, listings with Parcel Select Ground will automatically update. I hope this helps clarify things..."
I feel that is a consequence, but Elizabeth said it isn't, just the effect of not updating. Semantics I suppose. I wasn't really worried about getting kicked off the platform.

A good question. I hope, for the flat postage rates I use, nothing. I don't plan to change anything but I am afraid ebay will force us to do so, so they can calculate the so-called "estimated" delivery dates.

Slight problem with bulk edit (which I have)...
I have over 13,000 listings and when I try to use bulk edit to change
first class postage to ground advantage, I'm unable to do so on many of
my listings because a large percentage of them require "item specifics"
which I did not initially add...
I won't live long enough to covert ALL the titles that require item
specifics (over 6,000 titles) in order to change shipping from
first class to ground... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGHHH
Any solution to my dilemma ??

were going to be out of business with this since ebay refuses to automatically change first class. With thousands of listings it can not manually be changed, and would take months of work. It's ridiculous that ebay can automatically change parcel but not first class. No idea what to do. Bulk edit will not work, every item is different. This was not planned out right from the beginning. I guess when sellers and businesses start pulling out they might wake up. If everything defaults to a expensive expedited service instead, that's the end of it, customers aren't going to pay that when the cheaper option was/is there.
kyle@ebay why is this not being understood at ebay?
