How does a buyer cancel a return/refund request?

Hi all,

As a buyer, how can I cancel a return/refund request? I purchased a computer board and spent about 2 weeks off and on trying to get it working and it wouldn't. I figured it was a dead board so I I started a refund request and the seller offered less than half which I declined. However, in the meantime, I have been able to get the board working and all is well and I'm happy with it.  I want to cancel the return request so the seller is no longer inconvienced. How can I go about doing this? Nothing I have seen or read really explains a way to fix this. I have also contacted the seller and explained the situation and let him know the board is working, I'm satisfied, and want to drop the return request.

Thanks!

Ok, here's what happened in my case. I'm posting this so others with this or a very similar situation will have an idea of what to do:
After I got the board working, I let my seller know that all was good. He then asked "ebay to step in" and I got a message from Ebay that they would give it 48 hours and then step in. ALSO, in that same message from Ebay was a link to "CLOSE THE CASE". That's what I did and how I solved this issue. Thanks to all those that have responded!

Well, first congratulations on getting it working, computer boards can have a mind of their own. In the resolution center, in your case, there should be a cancel the return button (similar to below). I think its under send a message in the case, but its been a while since I had a return. You might want to let your seller know that you are satisfied.

Re: How does a buyer cancel a return/refund request?

Hi phcd1,
I did get a reply when I initiated the return. The seller offered like a 33% refund but I turned it down. I have not heard from him since that time. I cannot find a screen like you've posted above as of yet. I'll go back and look again.
Thanks!

I don't have any returns open right now. Try the Resolution Center, find the case, and click send the seller a message. I think it might be there.
