Calculating shipping on an item just like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/123901351714?nordt=true&orig_cvip=true and using the Ebay Shipping Calculator. How do you input 1/4 inch in the thickness. Tried every way I know.

Try just using 1 inch.

Do you know if there is a difference in cost between 1/2 and 1"?

There is no point in trying to enter fractions or decimals in the eBay listing shipping calculator. It just doesn't use them. If you are shipping a package, then the thickness won't affect the price unless the package is over 1 cubic foot.
If you are entering the dimensions for a large package, you can enter whole numbers by following the USPS policy for package dimensions: if under .5 inches, round down to the nearest whole inch, and if .5 or above, round up.

Let me mark this as solved. The 0.25 does work. I thought I put that in but must not have. And, there is no difference in the pricing between the two. Thank you people.
