The label was purchased through eBay and was USPS ground advantage with up to $100 insurance included. It was a $32 item.

Ask the buyer for a few pictures of the item and package, then refund the buyer.
Have the buyer hang on to the item and package so it can be inspected.
You file a claim with USPS.

Wonder if they will try to " weasel out " saying poor packing ? With a damaged outer box you should win the claim.

Did the buyer say it was destroyed? I see you basically sell trading cards and t-shirts.
Although the buyer doesn't have to send a photo of damage...its basically is the buyer truthful?
If you got a photo of damaged item...I would issue a refund right away to save my feedback.
Really hard to claim damage to an item from the post office..insurance is normally for something lost.
You can claim damage but you will probably waste a lot of time and get nothing back.
