How do I tell ebay that seller has not issued refund even though I returned item

This should  be pretty easy.  Item was not as described, got prepaid label, returned item.  But I haven't gotten refund yet. 

 

The eBay page is "Have you received a refund yet?" and it shows the four steps:

"Return started", "Item sent", "Item delivered" and "Refund sent",

but only the first three are checked as completed, not "Refund sent"  That page also says

"Let us know if you didn't get your refund"

but I can't see any way to contact eBay on that page.  I can try to post that page here if that would help. 

 

If I go through the Resolution Center, it does not show this item/case.  It I select the item and go to Order Details, it shows the order with no options.  It's like eBay doesn't really want to hear about the problem.

 

Help!

The seller has a certain amount of time to refund you once they have received the item back. I think that it is 6 business days. If you haven't been refunded once that time is up a button should appear allowing you to ask ebay to step in. They will refund you and bill the seller.

The seller has six business days to issue the refund.

the seller is allowed to delay before issuing a refund.

Wow, thanks for the quick replies!

 

I got email from eBay on Jan 29 that the seller had received the item and that I should get a refund by Feb 6.

 

I got email from eBay on Feb 7 that I should have received the refund and "If  you have not received your refund yet, you should go to your return details and ask us to step in and help before Feb 22, 2018." 

 

That's why I started looking for a way to let them know.

 

The screen I get is just like the one "hafoster" showed in his answer, except WITHOUT the "Ask us to step in and help" button.  Maybe I just need to give ebay a couple more days for that button to show up.  It's pretty confusing when they send me an email telling me to do something but give me no way to do it.

If the button is not appearing you may have to call Customer Service.

 

Double-check your funding source to make sure a refund hasn't been processed yet.

I did check the funding sources again.  No refund.

 

This gets back to my original question:  How do I contact Customer Support? 

 

Everything I try to do winds up on some eBay page that just links to itself.

 

If I try   Contact Us  , it makes me select:

Returns->Returns for buyers

and then on that page I can select one of five choices that all seem to be earlier in the process than where I'm at, but, regardless, they just wind up taking me to the same Order Details page or "Have you received a refund yet".

 

But tonight, I tried that again and got a different option:

Returns->Returns for buyers->Return

and then on that page select Status and I get to a page where it seems to have searched for "Getting a return or refund status" in Customer Service.  On that page, it has the item selected and two buttons:

"View refund detail" and "Ask eBay to step in"

The latter gets me to this page:

 

"Ask us to step in and help
It looks like it's time for us to step in and help
Give us few more details, so we can help resolve the problem
 Tell us what the problem is"
 
So I wrote a few sentences explaining the problem and pressed "Ask us to step in and help" on that page.
 
And it took me to the same page "hafoster" showed above, still with no action button, but with this error message:
"You are not authorized to perform this action at this time"
So I'm back where I started.
 
eBay needs to better handle this stuff.  The button should be there, but greyed-out if you are not allowed to press it and if you hover over it, a word-balloon should popup to show why not.  And the explanation should be better than "not authorized".
 
So, I'm back to giving it a couple more days to see if their online system catches up with what the email they sent me told me to do.

Well, now it's Tuesday afternoon and nothing.

 

"Let us know if you didn't get your refund"   but no way to let them know.

 

Any suggestions?  Is there an email address or phone number I can use?

We aren’t allowed to post the phone number but you can google it or click on Help and Contact at the bottom of the page. There is no email support.
