@nawlinsron2 PayPal actually does not cover INRs on local pickups, it's been several years since they made that change. eBay does not cover them either.  You don't need proof of delivery via tracking on local pickups. So really your only concern is a credit card chargeback and you risk those whether you ship the item or not.

No need to mark anything. However, since payment was via Paypal, log in to Paypal and find the transaction. The tracking section includes several options -- "order processed" is a good one to pick but there may be other generic phrases that indicate the order has been completed.

 Trinton chimed in on the last thread, remember?  He says if the buyer elects to pay through PayPal, buyer can file an eBay case, depending on case details.

If there was no shipping option in the listing, OP might win the case.

I have received a couple of shipping dings because of this so now I ask the buyer to please leave feedback as eBay will recognize that the order was completed. I don't know why they don't have the option to mark "picked up (and show a date)". I also give the buyer a receipt with their name, phone number, address, date of pick up etc. on it, have them sign it and keep a copy. I accept payment though PayPal and haven't had a charge back yet, but that's not to say it won't happen.

Trinton was referring to ebay only though. And He also said that the buyer wouldn't win the case if eBay can see that there is correspondence between buyer and seller arranging the pick up. My comment was directed toward those who haven't read the PayPal UA in at least 2 years and repeatedly tell sellers not to take PayPal because they won't have proof of delivery.

Accepting to Trinton the seller can possibly win. But the fact remains, the MBG does specifically state that INRs are not covered and all a seller needs is correspondence showing that pickup was arranged, that is what Trinton said.
