I enter in the dimensions 1oz 3.5" x 5" x .25" and it doesn't give me the option to ship with an ebay envelope? I saw another guy asking the same thing a few days ago. Is this broken right now? What gives? 😕

Chart for Media Mail eligibility: https://liteblue.usps.gov/news/link/2013/04apr/Media-Mail-Guidelines.htm
Info on ESE:
Review this page for the packing requirements (size, flexibility, etc) and category restrictions (a qualifying item must be listed in a qualifying category):
https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/shipping/ebay-labels-services/ebay-domestic-shipping-services/ebay...
And also read this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options/ebay-standard-envelope?id=...
Review this page for some of the fine print (like items over $20 don't qualify, for example):
https://pages.ebay.com/sell/standarddelivery/termsofservice.html
If you don't see ESE on the listing form you may need to adjust package dimensions to 11x6x0.25
If you don't see ESE on the shipping label page you may need to adjust package dimensions to 11x6x1
When you use auction format, if the auction goes over $20 and you offered ESE, the buyer can still choose it at checkout, but you will not be able to purchase an ESE label due to the item's value.
If your item is eligible then you will be able to purchase a label through eBay following the normal process. You'll see it as a service option right next to all the others (first class, etc). You may need to use the website as ESE is available through the app (not sure if eBay changed that yet).
I you find the tracking on eBay to be lacking, you can track the ESUS number on this site:
https://parcelsapp.com/en
Remember, this is a metered mail shipment so it does not receive traditional tracking scans and the clerk at the PO counter cannot scan it. Instead you should drop these envelopes in your PO's metered mail slot. The envelope will be scanned by sorting machinery at distribution centers along the way.
With ESE, a 'delivered' scan generally occurs at the last sort facility before it gets to the buyer, so typically the buyer will receive their order a day or two after the delivered scan.
If an item doesn't have a delivered scan and a buyer files a not received claim, you do have insurance coverage and the claims process is outlined on the page linked above.

You'll have to be more specific:
- Is the trouble finding the option on the listing form (you only have one qualifying item on this account and it does show ESE as the shipping option)
- Is the trouble finding the option on the page where you purchase shipping labels (I don't see any qualifying sold items on this account)
Can you post an item number that's giving you trouble?
If it's an item you haven't listed yet, enter 11x6x0.25 for package dimensions on the listing form.

Video games are not eligible for eBay Standard Envelope.
Video games are not eligible for Media Mail.
You'll need to ship it First Class Package for the most economical shipping rates.

I have been shipping video games for years on eBay in an envelope with no problems. I just tried to list a pair of slacks that fit in the envelope fine, but no it will not let me ship in and envelope and so I tried a light weight women's shirt size small and it would not let me ship in an envelope. When did this all start? Nothing I have tried to list in the past week would allow shipping using an envelope. This is not a problem I encountered last week? So eBay must have just changed the rules :(.

Your post is way off topic. This thread is regarding eBay's Standard envelope for coins stamp trading cards.
You can ship using an envelope videos can ship in an envelope with media mail. Clothing can ship depending on weight first class envelope you would either apply postage stamps or go to the post office to purchase postage. There isn't a label for first class envelopes.
