I sold a piece of new medical equipment. Buyer wants to return. I do not except returns on any medical equipment and the auction says I dont. Buyer left negative feedback saying item was fake chinese **bleep**, which it was not, its made in the usa. Distributed by US company. How do i decline his return so that i can get paid? Ive searched everywhere. Ive responded to his messages with proof of US origion.

@sunraedreamswrote:Is the only 1 i had, i took the pics, i put it in the envelope, i printed the postage, i sealed the envelope, i put it in the mailbox at the post office. There is no way it couldnt be the one i posted, mailed etc.
I'm not saying that this is what you did - I am saying that this is what COULD HAVE happened...
You could have easily just taken a photo of a real item, then sent off a fake one. It is very simple. There is no one to say that you didn't do that. This is why eBay has the rules/policies that they do with regaurd to that.
You can say that you only have one item, but how is eBay supposed to know?
I think this is what @missjen831 is trying to say.

@sunraedreamswrote:
Im disabled with no income other than what i find to sell on here.
Sorry, but that is just a little hard to believe seeing how many items you sell.

On what are you basing your comment? Can disabled people list, what, only ten items, maybe? They can't own enough items for 14 listings in three months?
I, frankly, sir, with all due respect, think your comment is uncalled for. I think, in my opinion, you owe the OP an apology.

Pictures really prove nothing. Anyone can photograph something and put something else in the box to ship.

In your listing you say:
Country/Region of Manufacture: Unknown
I don't see anything on the package that says its made in the US.
Just because it's a company based in the US, doesn't mean they don't get their items from China.
If they claim the item is fake, there's not much you can do but provide a return shipping label (if you want the item back) and give a full refund.
If you refuse the return and the buyer ask for Ebays help, you'll probably loose your money and item and get a defect on your account for not handling the return.

- The OP has one item currently listed for sale.
- The OP has eight "sold" listings since January.
- The OP has 14 "completed" listings since January.
- The OP has a total of 12 feedback comments.

The poster's comment might not have anything to do with the OP's statement of being disabled, but rather his statement of having no other income. The selling income to date seems very small and insufficient to support someone (disabled or not)

Distributed by a US company doesn't mean that a product was made in the USA.
The Resmed website itself states that it has locations in 120 countries. When you look at their locations, they mention numerous sites for manufacturing, including a strong presence in Asia Pacific , highlighting manufacturing in Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia.
You probably should look at their website as you will readily see that unless the product you sold clearly states that it was made in one of their US manufacturing facilities you can not be sure that it was made here in the states.
Your reply to the buyer's negative feedback is really not helpful to yourself as a seller and is definitely unfair to the buyer. You criticize him for buying the item saying he had 2 pictures to view. Since neither of those pictures show the country of manufacture, how was the at fault for what your pictures did not show?
If after all, when the buyer received the product, he saw it was manufactured outside the USA - that in itself doesn't make it NOT AS DESCRIBED but the buyer apparently thinks its fake. You could have taken some time to determine, as I did by looking at the company website that their products are manufactured in numerous countries, and been prepared to share that information with the buyer and alleviate his concerns. But instead you decided to attack him. Not a good strategy.

Im selling off old stuff that has been laying around for a bit and some stuff my son gave me from one of his latest trips to an estate auction. I used to sell tupperware and i have a closet full of it. When I have a good day I post a few things. It helps toward the rent and power bills. All this having nothing to do with his calling me a lier and sending him "cheap chinese junk". That is what he sent in his complaint message. Its neither cheap nor chinese. He accused me of drop shipping, again not true. Everyone else that bought something from that estate lot of cpap stuff left positive feedback. Maybe can write more later, hands going numb. Sorry.

He attacked me in his first message! And i never said it was made in the US, distributed...yes. I honestly dont care, for all i actually get on ebay to buy or sell. I did post some stuff to help with the rent and get a few things my son and daughter needed. Still, it WAS AS DISCRIBED. My description said "fits mirage". It might be 7 months before I get back on again to sell more stuff for my son or buy stuff my daughter needs. Ebay isnt my life.

What happens if he sends me back a used item? The one i sent was new sealed. What if hes trying to cheat me? What do I do? Do I have any recourse? I feel like he's trying to cheat me, with all his talk about drop shipping and having worked for amazon. Btw, ive never ordered anything from amazon. Crazy, but true.
