I know ebay announced Holiday shipping increases on 9/21 ,however their shopping cart is not updating with new pricing. I ship using calculated shipping with exact measurements. I had over 10 labels today that ebay undercharged buyers and I had to pay difference. Why has the shipping calculator not update with the new shipping rates? I spoke to 2 people and was told to call USPS?? umm why? Ebay neds to update there shipping rates asap. I can not be the only one with this issue.

Hey @theprimitivepineapple. Can you post the item numbers of a few examples?
I checked a couple of your sold listings and didn't see a problem with the system's calculations, so the issue might be with how you have your shipping set up. Example:
Item 234675935925 charged the current price for a 13 oz First Class Package.
You are charging the discounted online rates, not the retail rates. Most sellers charge retail rates because the difference goes towards the fees eBay charges on shipping costs.
Some of your listings appear to be charging a flat rate, not calculated. Example:
Item 234219729722 is charging a flat $3.99. When you use flat pricing, you set the price. You'd have to switch to calculated for the system to reflect price changes as they happen.

By the way, you should probably do a little listing clean up to avoid eBay policy violations or suspensions. You have external links in both item descriptions and photos which is not allowed.
For the sake of providing recent info to customers, you might want to look at your shipping section which headlines a shipping price increase dated almost 2 years ago (January 2021).
I didn't click on all of your listings, but I clicked on this one: item 234712583119
The title says 4 which I think you meant as 4"? But it reads like a quantity of 4 because you forgot the inch mark.
Edit: And I sure hope you got your buyers' permission to post their IDs in the "testimonials" scroll. eBay hides buyer IDs on feedback for privacy reasons. Posting them publicly on your listings requires buyer permission.
Hope that helps.

Sure..234207968524 box is weighed and calculated exactly what person was billed .Ebay collected 4.99. I got charged 5.22
234283134340 Ebay collected 4.68 I was charged 5.08 and box and weight are exactly what was calculated.
Ebay confirmed the cart was not charging correctly? They put in a " request". I can not be the only one that noticed this.

USPS rates went up on Sunday October 2. Buyers who paid before that date were charged the old rates. Item 234283134340 was sold on September 30.
$5.08 is the current online (Commercial) rate to ship 9 - 12 ounces to Zone 6.
$4.68 is the old expired online (Commercial) rate to ship 9 - 12 ounces to Zone 6.
When I go to listing 234283134340, the shipping calculator in the listing now shows the current rate. Apparently your buyer paid before the rates went up.
Item 234207968524 is showing a flat rate of $4.99 to any ZIP Code, so apparently it was set up with a flat rate for shipping, not calculated shipping.

Nothing will happen with that request and the rep you spoke with was likely overseas and knows nothing about the topic.
As nobody*s said, the USPS holiday price change happened this past weekend, so any sales made Saturday or earlier that didn't get shipped (label printed) until Sunday or later would see the issue you're describing. Buyers purchased while old pricing was in effect, but you didn't ship until new pricing was in effect.
USPS rate changes happen 3x per year. Once in January and once in July/August for the bi-annual changes, and once at the start of October for the holiday season surcharge. If you can't absorb the difference during a changeover, then you need to adjust your listings in advance by using flat rates - or just ship sooner. The eBay announcements board posts shipping price changes, but they're usually pretty late about it. You can find the info from USPS long before eBay posts it.

Did the ads end BEFORE OCT. 2, 2022? If yes, they should have the old price. Anything after Oct 3, 2022 should show the new price IF YOU USED CALCULATED SHIPPING. If you use flat rate shipping, then you need to start editing all of your ads that have flat rate shipping.
