Here is where there is a problem

I sent out a package on the 11th to Queens Village NY...to a repeat customer so I know the address is correct, I am following the tracking on it and yesterday tracking state incorrect address and is being returned to the sender(me). I contacted the buyer and told him what was up and to get ahold of them and make them deliver it, as it scanned all the way to his door step...I also sent him the copy of the ebay label with address, which is 100% correct yesterday...so this morning I get a message from him (see below)

"So I was at the PO when they opened this morning. The reason for non delivery was that supposedly the route wasn't covered yesterday, meaning no carrier to deliver mail, but I got mail yesterday. Supposedly I will get it delivered today. Watching the cameras...will let you know what happens. Thanks again."

So in other words all the tracking info was pure load of bull.....yet we are held responsible by ebay for which something neither ebay nor sellers have control over, including any and all strings ebay attaches to it, like your account getting dinged for various time limits etc etc.....yet you did everything right and on time....I suggest ebay include a feedback rating system for each of the carriers that the sellers can apply...Ebay could also use one so both sellers and buyer can rate ebays performance as well...

Your account wouldn’t get “dinged” for a return to sender. Not sure where you’re getting that information from.
You only get “dinged” if you don’t  ship within your handling time. And you don’t upload tracking that is validated by an acceptance scan.

which all depends on a properly scanned parcel by the carrier, which if you end up on a route that has temps and different postal carriers can be trying to make sure they scan it when they pick it up.  Many times I have had a number that showed no track info other than label being created only to have it later scanned when delivered...
