Hi,

My situation as a seller on an item I sold and ebay generated a usps label for couldn't be used so the post office generated and attached to the flat rate usps box a new label and tracking number and was shipped and delivered.  I emailed buyer of this and added the tracking number to the ebay item shipping information but it, and the old not used ebay label is still in the ebay system as not yet shipped so even though I did enter the new shipping tracking number into ebay, which also shows not shipped, will the system update the new tracking number and tracking history as being delivered so I get paid, or not?

When I have done a second label, I "request to void" the 1st one.

Both have remained showing on the details, but I have had no issue. When one shows delivered it has updated that item sale shipping/delivery status. YMMV

I didn't request to void within 5 days.  Where do you request to void a shipping label?  I tried ebay and usps online. Thanks.

If you waited to long to cancel the label you just might be SOL. Next time do it right away! Expect to wait a while for the refund. The USPS will wait to make sure your label isn't scanned.

I'm more concerned about Ebay releasing the funds to my account  after dec 11 because of dual labels.  the original was $7 and change.......thanks.

Yes it will update. It did for me when i canceled a label and attached new tracking numbers. You can get a refund on the unused label in your seller hub. Go to orders the drop down menu click on labels and you can get refunded.

Any tracking generated through eBay cannot be removed from the transaction, even if you void a label. As long as you added the new tracking number, that will eventually prompt the system to show a delivered status as Jack mentioned.

Info for future:

To reprint a label purchased through eBay (or download a copy of a QR code through the reprint function), go to this page, find the order and select Reprint from the Actions drop-down. The reprint option is available for 7 days.

To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Void from the Actions drop-down. The void option is available for 5 days.

It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.

Printed eBay Standard Envelope labels are non-refundable and cannot be voided.

eBay International Standard Delivery labels are not charged to your account until they are used, so there is no void option.
