Today I sold a typical item thats 19x12x9 and 12lbs and fed ex fround wants $85 to ship?Normally this size would be $20ish or less infact I just sold a larger item for less,The only conclusion is the desitination but still it doesnt make any sense because im in phoenix AZ and hes in arkansas?Unless the rioting is causing shipping issues in some states there is no reason why this one item should be this price.
Now the item was $50 so obviously i cant spend $80 to ship.Im thinking i will drive to fed ex and see what they say any thoughts on why this random price jump would happen?again this should cost $20ish or less normally?

If you go to their website you will see that they are adding all kinds of fees and surcharges due to the pandemic..started in June.

Are you sure it is giving you FedEx Ground and not a different service. There is no reason why a package that size would cost that much to my knowledge. Currently there is a bug where FedEx Ground and Parcel Select isn't showing up.

19x12x9=2052 cubic inches.
Your package is oversized and that is why the high charge.

"Normally this size would be $20ish or less"
There is no normal anymore. The world ran out of it.
