Help needed

Hi , I am

not new to e bay but never had to return anything before.  Here is a message I sent to the seller this morning which explains everything . What do I need to do , seller agreed for me to send the laptop on my expense which was in his initial posting. There is £100 owing to me.

Hi xxxxxx I’m not quite sure what has gone wrong with communications???

We agreed that the laptop had no sound and that I would return it to you.

I started the return procedure with EBay as you requested, return was at my expense so I didn’t need a prepaid label. I packed it the same way as you sent it so there was no damage going to incur . You quite rightly said you hadn’t received it and that I should pursue the Royal Mail tracking . This I did and sent you a screen shot of the Royal Mail tracking. It said that they had tried to deliver it to you, presumably leaving you a calling card and what to do next . I also sent you a receipt of postage . I think I’ve conformed to everything you requested but at a bit of a loss as to what to do next as I have not had any reply from the information I have sent you. I

As I said in previous correspondence I have never had to return anything before so bit unsure what to do in these circumstances ? I have a chat appoint meant with e bay at 10

A few things:

  1. Tracking for the package must be associated with the return request for eBay.
  2. It is the responsibility of the seller to accommodate receipt of the package.  That is, they cannot deny it or block it.
  3. As far as completing a return, attempted delivery equates to delivery.   So the return is delivered.
  4. Notify eBay that the buyer is not accommodating the return, and ask them to intervene.
