Hi guys, I need help. I’m not sure how, but my eBay address showed one number off Luckily , this address does not exist. I purchased from five different sellers in the span of two days, who have all sent my packages off already and the shipping information is incorrect. The packages are now on the way back to the seller. I updated my address. what is my next option? I do not want a refund, I want my items. I know this is super inconvenient for the seller, I am terrified. I am not going to get my packages, or get a refund. This is not a scam situation, two of the sellers have contacted me back and one is requesting I send money in an envelope to reship. The other said we will deal with it when they get the package back and the others have yet to answer. What do I do? Any advice would be appreciated. I used to use eBay years ago but i just started again so I don’t know what happens in these situations.

What happens next depends on the type of sellers you're dealing with.
Know this first: packages returned to sender as undeliverable are not covered under eBay's Money Back Guarantee. Buyer is policy-wise out of luck when they provide a bad address.
That said, most sellers are decent and will work with you. I generally give buyers a choice:
- Send a PayPal payment for re-ship costs with a correct address
or
- Refund buyer minus original shipping and eBay fees, buyer has option of submitting a new order
Communicate with the sellers and let them know:
- There was a typo on your address which you have since updated on your eBay account
- You would still like the item you purchased
- You are willing to send funds through PayPal for reshipping
Hopefully your sellers are willing to work with you @karo-7609.
If any of the packages are still in transit on their way to you, speak with your local PO and ask if they can hold those specific tracking numbers at the PO for you to pick up instead of returning to sender once they arrive.

Thank you for your advice. I understand that it is my responsibility to make sure that my address is correct on eBay, I sincerely hope that sellers don’t take the approach of, “well it’s not my problem because I shipped the item quote. I understand that this is some peoples line of business and it’s not a consumer retail store, but accident do happen, and I know that if I were a seller on eBay, I would take a different approach. I’ve had two out of the five sellers contact me back, but three have gone silent and it makes me worry that they are doing what you mentioned. I just left two different USPS offices in my area and of course, as they do, I got the runaround, I left all five tracking numbers with the post office and my correct address name and phone number to “hopefully get a call by Tuesday “which means that they will end up shipping them back to the seller and I will be out of a lot of money. Sadly, this was a birthday present to myself, and I never get to spend any money on myself, so it is very upsetting.
